I graduated from Iowa State University and after military duty in the Navy attended The Corcoran School of Art for four years. I have exhibited in group shows in the Washington D.C. area and have been commissioned to do paintings which are in numerous private collections in the area as well as in other parts of the country.

I primarily paint in oils, but also watercolors, sketches and photos to complete a picture.  The paintings represent observations during my travels and also everyday life experiences. Subjects range from landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, still lives, figures and occasional portraits.
